When temperatures begin to approach 0\u00b0C, the motorhome must be properly prepared for winter to avoid potential issues. Liquids are the most problematic in winter, as they can freeze and damage motorhome parts. This can cause the water heater (boiler) to burst, faucets or their cartridges to crack, the water pump filter to break, or the water pump itself to be destroyed if the membranes freeze or burst. Additionally, pipes or even the entire fresh or waste water tanks can crack. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Before winter, perform the following steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Empty and rinse the waste water tank and leave it open.<\/li>\n
  2. Open the faucets to drain all water from the fresh water tank. Once the pump has drained all the water, turn the pump off. <\/li>\n
  3. Open the fresh water valve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n
